Installation

#3.1System requirements

Requirement
Operating systemWindows 10 or Windows 11 (64-bit)
Disk~500 MB for the application, plus space for logs and local feature data
Memory4 GB minimum; 8 GB recommended when using the ER modeler or load tester
NetworkTCP access to your Oracle listener (default port 1521). Internet access is needed once, for licence activation — and an offline path exists if you have none.
Oracle clientNot required. The database driver is built in. You do not need Oracle Instant Client, tnsnames.ora, or ORACLE_HOME.

#3.2Installing

  1. Run the supplied DBCraft AI Studio MSI installer.
  2. Read the End User Licence Agreement and accept it. The installer will not continue until you do.
  3. Choose the installation folder, or accept the default.
  4. Finish the installer and launch the application from the Start menu or desktop shortcut.

There is no activation step inside the installer — licensing happens on first launch, inside the application.

#3.3Upgrading and uninstalling

Run a newer MSI over the top to upgrade; your settings, saved reports, test suites and version history are preserved. Uninstall from Settings → Apps in Windows. Uninstalling does not remove your licence from the machine — if you are moving the licence to another computer, deactivate it first (§38.5).
